The recipe is thought to be born in the Depression Era, from Irish immigrants that settled in Appalachia. 🍀Atleast that’s what Granny said, and I don’t bother questioning her.

Have you tried Potato candy before? It tastes like a sweet peanut butter candy, nothing like potatoes. 🥔 🍬 1/3c. Mashed potato, splash of vanilla, 1 lb powdered sugar, peanut butter.
