Let’s brighten our spaces with fresh fabrics heading into Spring!
Sponsored by VHC Brands, America’s Premier Country Home Textile Brand

Spring is all about renewal and refreshing! Now is the time of year I like to deep clean and freshen things up: open the windows, wash the cabinets down, add some pretty florals, and replace worn linens.
Simple switches like cafe curtains, shower curtains and bath mats, or something so small as a tea towel can do wonders for your home this new season.
Let’s do a spring cottage linen refresh together: Kitchen, Bathroom, and Laundry!
Kitchen:
In the kitchen, I have three primary spots ideal for seasonal changes: the sink cafe curtains, the island panels, and decorative tea towels.

Cafe curtains are so hard to find these days. I usually sew my own, but recently I stumbled upon VHC Brands. They offer the largest selection of country linens I have found- classic patterns and prints with cottage appeal.
I used the Kaila Ticking Blue Ruffle Tier Set of 2 (24″x36″) on my sink window. A set of VHC Brands Kaila Floral tiers (24″x36″) are hanging on the island. I opted to do a tension rod across the microwave opening of the cabinet. The curtains hide the appliance perfectly and add that cottage charm we all love.

I adore that VHC adds a white lining to all their panels. I consider that to be a mark of quality! When you pull the curtains, they are white to the street/outside, making your home look more put-together from the exterior.

Their panels also come with options for hanging: the standard pole opening as well as back tabs! I love the back tab option; it creates the most functional, pleated look.

Tea Towels are the simplest (and least expensive) linen update you can do in your kitchen. A sweet little bunny or easter egg towel is perfect for the upcoming Easter holiday.
Tea Towels are Sawyer Mill Easter Greetings Bunny Unbleached Natural Muslin, set of 2 (19″x28″).

The sunrises in my kitchen window every morning are such a blessing! (But you can see why I might need curtains in here at times.)

The Kaila floral panels remind me of a paisley print: so timeless and traditionally charming! We keep our microwave inside this opening within the island. I disguise it with a little tension rod + cafe curtain set.

The purple lilacs, another spring favorite, are from Nearly Natural.

Kids Bath

I refreshed the kids’ bath with new panels and a bath mat by VHC Brands as well. I made the extra tall shower panels using a simple DIY tutorial that you can find here: The Ultimate Shower Curtain Hack/2 panels instead of one
Details:
- Curtain panels are Sawyer Mill Blue Ticking Stripe Panels (set of 2) 84″x40″.
- The added ruffle was made using a Sawyer Mill Blue Ticking Stripe Bed Skirt.
- Bath Mat is Burlap Antique White Bathmat 20″x30“.
- The faux tulips are from Nearly Natural.
- Turkish Towels, Amazon, 19.40 pack of 2
- Amber Glass Soap Dispensers, Amazon, 15.99 pack of 2

Laundry Room

The laundry room is another unexpected location for cafe curtains! I use them to disguise our dirty laundry hampers. So much more attractive than piles of clothes!

I used the same tension rod + cafe panels set-up to create this look. These particular panels are the Hatteras Seersucker Blue Ticking Stripe Tier Set of 2 (36″x36″).

Added Details:
- Cast Iron Sink, Kingston Brass
- Antique Inspired faucet, Kingston Brass
- Amber Glass Spray Bottles, Amazon, 14.99 pack of 2
- Amber Glass Soap Dispensers, Amazon, 15.99 pack of 2
Bonus Space:
VHC also offers a large selection of pillows, throws, and bedding. These are my current favorites!

Seen above: Hatteras Seersucker 14ร22 ruffled pillow, $23.95 on Amazon. It pairs beautifully with the Annie Blue Floral pillow (18″) and the woven plaid throw in wheat (60ร50″), both also from VHC Brands.

The woven throw adds the perfect warmth to this slipcovered chair. Slipcover, by Surefit.

Happy Spring Refreshing, friends! And special thanks to VHC Brands for gifting me these items in exchange for an honest review. I highly recommend their products for quality cottage-inspired linens!
